Terms and Conditions

    General

  1. These Terms and Conditions (the "Terms") will govern the Steelers Nation Unite Program (the "Program") which is sponsored by Pittsburgh Steelers LLC (the "Steelers"). The Program is open to all consumers who are at least 18 years of age in accordance with these Terms. Participation in the Program constitutes acceptance of these Terms.
  2. Registered participants ("Members") of the Program are eligible to earn badges ("Badges") and/or Benefits ("Benefits") in recognition of select fan behaviors, ranging from purchases, game attendance, social activity and more ("Benefits").
  3. By registering and/or participating in the Program, Members agree to abide by these Terms, as amended from time to time by the Program, with or without notice. The Steelers reserve the right to amend or modify the Program at its discretion at any time and in any way (including the right to change or discontinue Benefits). Program modifications may include changes in earning structure, rules for using Program Benefits, expiration dates or forfeiture of unused Benefits.
  4. The Steelers reserve the right to cancel any Member's participation in the Program in the event of fraudulent activity, abuse of rewards privileges or violation of the Program's Terms.
  5. Members also consent that the Steelers, in their sole discretion, will resolve any and all questions/disputes regarding the Program including, but not limited to, eligibility, Benefits and rewards. Program membership and Benefits may not be transferred, purchased, sold or bartered.
  6. Steelers reserve the right, in their sole discretion, to cancel or suspend the Program (or any portion thereof) should viruses, bugs, unauthorized human intervention, or other causes corrupt administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper operation of the Program (or any portion thereof) or for any other reason at any time without notice and shall have no liability arising out of such termination or cancellation. In the event of cancellation or termination of the Program, Steelers may elect to provide benefits for Badges earned prior to the end of the Program but shall not be obligated to do so. Badges earned are non-transferable and non-assignable, with no cash redemptions except at Sponsor's sole and absolute discretion.
  7. Eligibility

  8. The Program is open to legal residents in the United States who are 18 years or older at the time of enrollment. The Program is void where prohibited by law.
  9. Fans complete the Program registration by providing a valid email address and creating a password. After submission of this information, Members are automatically registered in the Program.
  10. No purchase is required to enroll into the Program.
  11. Program Registration

  12. Program registration is available via (a) online at steelersnationunite.com or (b) the Steelers mobile app, available as a free app at: http://www.steelers.com/fan-zone/steelers-app-download.html. Registration requires input of a valid email address and correctly input your email address to participate. The Steelers are not responsible for communication errors resulting from a change to Member's email address or contact information. Any change to Member's email address should be made via the online or app account in the Profile section. Members can log into their online account here. Providing fictitious, incorrect or false information may result in termination of your account and forfeiture of all existing Benefits.
  13. When registering, one membership is allowed per person. Multiple accounts corresponding to the same person shall be subject to termination without notice and forfeiture of Benefits. Similarly, Program participants cannot combine activities, Badges or Benefits across multiple accounts.
  14. Program memberships and rewards are non-transferrable.
  15. By registering in the Program, consent is given to the Steelers to collect and use your information in connection with the Program in accordance with the Steelers' the Steeler's Privacy Policy (as the same may be updated from time to time), the terms of which are incorporated herein by this reference (the "Privacy Policy"). The Privacy Policy can be found here. By providing contact information, Members agree to receive marketing communications, including offers and promotional messages, from the Steelers and Steelers' marketing and/or promotional partners. Members may opt-out of receiving these communications by updating the Member's profile on the Profile page of the Program's online account at steelersnationunite.com.
  16. Badges

  17. Registered Members who meet the following criteria are eligible to earn Badges based on specific activities completed within a specified time period: (1) At least 18 years of age, (2) a minimum level of activity within the prior 14 months, and (3) have not been closed by the Member or the Steelers.
  18. Program Members do not need to opt-in (i.e., consent) to receive marketing communications in order to earn or redeem Badges.
  19. Members earn Badges based on specific activities they participate in while the Badge is active. An active Badge is noted as eligible to earn on steelersnationunite.com before the expiration date associated with that particular Badge. Once a Member performs actions specified according to the Badge instructions on steelersnationunite.com, they will receive a notification of that Badge and any Benefits associated with the Badge. Badge notification may take up to ten (10) working days to receive.
  20. There is no limit to the number of Benefits or Badges that can be earned. Badges are offered for limited periods of time as noted on the description for each Badge on the Member's Program account at steelersnationunite.com. Once a Badge is earned, it remains in the Member's online or app account, however, Benefits associated with that badge or the ability for a Member to earn that Badge will expire. Members can only earn a Badge once.
  21. Badges and Benefits earned based on purchases at steelers.com or Steelers retail stores will be based on spending exclusive of tax, shipping and handling. Gift card purchases are not eligible.
  22. Members cannot earn retroactive credit or Badges for activities (spending, referrals, sharing and any other activities specified in the Badges descriptions).
  23. Badges have no cash value and cannot be redeemed for products and/or services.
  24. Benefits

  25. Benefits may be earned in association with Badges. In addition, Benefits may also be offered to all or selective audiences among Members at the sole discretion of the Steelers. All Benefits will have an expiration date, which may or may not be the same as the associated Badges expiration date. All Benefit details will be explained in the Benefit information sent to Members by the Program.
  26. Benefits may be redeemed online or through the mobile app. Some Benefits may require that a code be entered at steelers.com, be provided to an associate at a Steelers retail store, or be provided to a partner or sponsor location in order to redeem the offer. Members may also receive additional information about more benefits from time to time.
  27. Some Benefits may have restrictions associated with them, may require a purchase, may have limited available quantities, may only be available while supplies last, and/or may be subject to other restrictions. All applicable restrictions will be explained in the Benefit information sent to Members by the Steelers with respect to the Program or a particular Badge.
  28. Many of the Benefits associated with the Program are offered exclusively through Steelers.com or Steelers retail stores. Some Benefits may be provided by a partner, sponsor or by an independent supplier. Members hereby release the Steelers, its independent contractors, and/or any of their affiliates and subsidiaries from any responsibility and/or liability for any loss, injury, damage, accident, delay, inconvenience, or irregularity that any person may suffer due to any cause whatsoever relating to, arising out of or in connection with the Program or the use of any facilities, services or goods in connection with any merchandise, product or other service provided by any independent supplier.
  29. From time to time, the Steelers may conduct contest or promotional giveaways as a stated benefit for earning certain Badges. You will be notified if any Badges are eligible for such contests or promotional giveaways and will be provided with a link to the specific rules governing such contest and/or promotional giveaway. IN NO EVENT WILL A PURCHASE BE NECESSARY IN ORDER TO BE ELIGIBLE TO PARTICIPATE IN ANY SUCH SPECIFIED CONTESTS OR PROMOTIONAL GIVEAWAYS.
  30. Members are responsible for any tax liability related to participation in and/or Benefits purchase associated with the Program.
  31. In order to access certain Benefits associated with the Program, Members understand and agree that they may be asked to provide personal information, such as email address, mailing address seat number at a Heinz Field or other event and that the information provided will be disclosed to merchants and other third parties as necessary to complete the transaction. The Steelers and its independent contractors have no control over, and no responsibility or liability for, the use by any merchants or other third parties of personal information or any other information that such parties independently acquire from Members or that is given to such parties to process Program transactions or fulfill Program Benefits.
  32. Members will forfeit all accumulated and unused Benefits if their Program account does not show any activity (login, Badges earned, purchases, profile updates and any other actions expressly defined in Badge descriptions) within the prior 14 months. After 14 months without activity, the Steelers, at its sole discretion may choose to close the Member's Program account.
  33. Miscellaneous

  34. For specific Program questions, please direct all communications to questions@steelersnationunite.com. Fans will receive a response between one (1) to two (2) working days after a request is received.
  35. Membership may be cancelled at any time by notifying Member Services by email or phone. Cancellation may take up to ten (10) weeks to finalize. Upon cancellation, membership will be deactivated and any offers or unused Benefits will be forfeited.
  36. The Steelers shall not be liable for any claims, actions, injury, loss or damage of any kind, including, without limitation, personal injury or death, resulting from the Program. This limitation of liability is a comprehensive limitation of liability that applies to all damages of any kind, including, without limitation, compensatory, direct, indirect, or consequential damages; loss of data, income or profit; loss or damage to property; and claims of third parties. Members acknowledge and agree that the Steelers have not made and is not in any manner responsible or liable for any warranty, representation, or guarantee, statutory, express or implied (including, without limitation, the implied warranties of merchantability, title and fitness for a particular purpose).
  37. These Terms and the Program will be governed by and construed and enforced in accordance with the internal substantive laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, without regard to its conflicts of laws provisions. All disputes arising out of or with respect to these Terms or the Program will be heard exclusively in the courts, state and Federal, located in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, U.S.A. and by registering or participating in the Program, the Member hereby consents to the jurisdiction and venue of such courts.
